Heather Kennard, an auxiliary member of Brandywine Hundred Fire Company and Senior Master Sergeant with the Delaware Air National Guard was deployed from January 2020 through August of 2020 as the 386th Maintenance Operations Flight Superintendent. While every deployment comes with its own challenges, Heather was leaving behind her husband and (2) young twin sons. This mission was flown in support of Operation Inherent Resolve to find an destroy those who threaten our country and our allies. This flag is presented to Brandywine Hundred Fire Company Auxiliary for outstanding support to the nation, our veterans and our brothers and sisters in arms".

This special U.S. Flag along with the certificate is in a custom display case at our station for all to cherish and honor. Thank you Heather for your service, unwavering dedication and commitment to protect our freedom and our country.
