Station 11, NCC Medic 4, and DSP Trooper 4 were alerted to a motor vehicle collision with possible entrapment at 15:47hrs. Rescue 11 under the command of 11-8C (D. Pearce III) and Engine 11-5 under the command of Lieutenant E. DiMauro Jr made the response. Fireboard advised units responding that a firefighter on-scene is confirming entrapment. Units arrived and went into operation removing both front doors, roof removal, and a dash roll to free the entrapped occupant within 13 minutes. 11-8C established the Brandywine Command. The patient was transferred to DSP Trooper 4 and was transported to A.I. DuPont Hospital.
